Pink Street
A Cais do Sodré street stop to combine with the market, river or a chosen bar.

Market food and the river by day; a much louder bar scene at night. Choose the version that fits your mood.
Cais do Sodré gives you two Lisbon outings: market food and a riverfront walk by day, or bars and music after dark. Start at Mercado da Ribeira, choose something at Time Out Market Lisboa, then head to Ribeira das Naus. Pink Street is a separate choice when you want the livelier evening version.
We like this area best when the plan is clear. A group that wants different dishes can start at Time Out Market Lisboa and its communal tables, then move outside rather than keep adding food stops. The market gives the day an anchor; the river gives it breathing room.
The mood changes for an evening around Pink Street, Rua Nova do Carvalho. Pensão Amor offers decorated rooms and a programme to choose around, while Javá puts the river-view version above Praça Dom Luís I. Pick the room, rooftop or street scene that suits you instead of assuming the whole neighbourhood feels the same.
Begin with the market, then continue to Ribeira das Naus for a walk or time beside the Tagus. Keep the daytime route separate from any later bar plan: a riverside pause does not need to turn into a late night.

Different dishes, communal tables and no table bookings at the Cais do Sodré food hall.

A lawn-and-steps riverfront pause between Cais do Sodré and Praça do Comércio; no swimming.
Keep the named stops together, or use them to start your own Lisbon list.
Stop heights · metres, not a terrain survey
2 of 2 named stops have sourced pins. About 9 min / 0.7 km between stops. 1 distance-only estimate. Visits, crossings and the journey home are not included.
Compare modelled streets and elevation. Missing coverage stays unestimated; this is not an access guarantee.
Dotted links show the ordering, not streets. Missing pins and flexible pauses are excluded from walking totals.
Ribeira das Naus is for walking and sitting, not swimming. Beside the water and steps, keep an eye on children. For an evening venue, choose the current programme before setting off.
Weather & month planner →The market and riverfront make it a food-and-walking stop by day. Time Out Market Lisboa has communal tables, and Ribeira das Naus is the outdoor part of the plan.
Time Out Market Lisboa is the food-hall option in our guide. Choose the dishes that suit the group, then use the communal tables rather than planning several separate restaurants.
No: Pink Street is Rua Nova do Carvalho, with a quick daytime-look version and a livelier night-time one. We would choose it separately from the market-to-Ribeira das Naus walk.
