MICHELIN in Lisbon. Choose the meal, then the distinction.
From a Bib Gourmand lunch to a two-star tasting menu: explore the 55 restaurants in MICHELIN’s Lisbon-and-surroundings list, with the city and out-of-town tables kept clear.
Primary listings checked 23 October 2026 · an independent Lisbonline guide.
Start with the kind of day you want.
A distinction helps you understand MICHELIN’s selection; it does not choose the right meal for you. Decide how far you want to travel, the style of cooking and the kind of bill you are comfortable with. Then look at the current menu and booking conditions. This inventory includes both Lisbon and surrounding towns. It is not a claim that every restaurant in the region appears here.
Four different ways to be included
Two stars
Belcanto, Henrique Sá Pessoa and Fifty Seconds are the three two-star entries in this list. All sit in the highest published price band. Build the outing around the meal and check the restaurant’s current formats, rather than assuming every table offers the same length of tasting menu.
One star
The 16 one-star entries cover different cuisines and settings, including Japanese cooking and Encanto’s vegetarian kitchen. A star is about the cooking; it is not a promise of a dress code, a particular view, a vegan menu or a fixed spend.
Bib Gourmand
These seven entries are recognised for the relationship between cooking and value. Five are listed in Lisbon; Taberna Sakra is in Alverca do Ribatejo and Xtoria is in Setúbal. A Bib is a separate distinction, not a fraction of a star or a guarantee of a cheap evening with drinks.
Selected
The remaining 29 restaurants are included without either star category or Bib Gourmand in this inventory. Their published price bands vary. Read the cuisine and current menu on their own terms; Selected does not mean a place is awaiting a star.
€ to €€€€ are MICHELIN’s relative price bands. They are not a quote in euros; menus, pairings, supplements and booking deposits can change the final bill.
0 selected · selections stay when you change filters.
Locals will ask you to add the selected places to your current draft. Existing notes stay yours; every new branch still needs your confirmation.

A little planning, a better meal
Before you book.
Choose the format, then do the sums
Check whether the restaurant offers a tasting menu, à la carte or both on your date. Add drinks or pairings, supplements and any deposit to your plan. Look at how the booking handles changes and cancellations before paying. The band in this guide describes the listing; it is not a live menu or a price commitment from Lisbonline.
Tell the kitchen what you need
Encanto is listed for vegetarian cooking. Vegetarian does not automatically mean vegan or suitable for every allergy. At any restaurant, explain ingredients you must avoid before reserving and ask whether the actual menu can accommodate them. A cuisine label or a dietary option on a general search page does not settle that question.
Leave the evening room to breathe
Keep a long meal separate from a tight sightseeing schedule. The surrounding entries include Paço de Arcos, Cascais, Alverca do Ribatejo, Sintra and Setúbal; they are not interchangeable Lisbon neighbourhoods. Plan your return journey before committing to an out-of-town dinner. The day-trip guide helps you think about the journey without promising a last train or a live taxi fare.
A listing is not an opening announcement
Omakase RI remains in the official inventory, while its own site announces a relaunch. We retain the reference and its existing Lisbonline page, with operation unconfirmed. Keep the reference for context and ask the restaurant for its current location and reopening arrangements before making plans.
Sources & scope
Names, published localities, addresses, cuisine labels, price bands and distinctions come from the linked primary MICHELIN listings, checked 23 October 2026.
