The organiser lists the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon for 7 March 2027 at 09:30. The full-marathon page still describes 10 October 2026, an edition that has already passed. We have not copied an unofficial October 2027 date into the upcoming calendar. Check the organiser’s next announcement before making non-refundable race travel plans.
Match the full race name and edition when opening a registration link. A half marathon, a full marathon, a ten-kilometre race and a family walk can share a weekend without sharing the same start or entry. Choosing a shorter distance is not simply buying the same ticket at a lower price.
An event date is not an entry
The race information and the actual registration service have different jobs. A page title saying registrations are open is not proof that a place remains for your category. Start from the organiser, read the selected edition’s rules and confirm the registration result rather than assuming a calendar reminder reserves a bib.
Check participant eligibility, cancellation and transfer conditions, payment deadlines and any booking confirmation. We have not published an unverified current entry price or promised that a sold-out race will reopen. The reminder here is for your own calendar; it does not join a ballot, send email or buy anything.
Give kit collection its own space
For the March 2027 half marathon, the organiser lists kit collection on 4–6 March at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. It says no bibs or participation kits are delivered on race day. Arrange your arrival around that requirement instead of assuming you can collect a number at the start.
The published information also says there is no bag-drop service. Decide where your belongings will go before leaving for the race. Follow the organiser’s final instructions for collection documents and anyone collecting on your behalf. Do not carry an assumption from an older October race or a different distance into this weekend.
The start is not a spectator meeting point
The March half-marathon page directs participants to Fertagus and Pragal for access to the bridge start, with final details to follow nearer the date. Only bib-identified participants can enter that start area; spectators are not permitted on the bridge. Arrange a meeting plan elsewhere using the organiser’s current access information.
Keep training, recovery and medical decisions with the appropriate professionals. Our job is the practical city part: a sensible arrival, the right collection venue and a return plan. Save the organiser’s contact and your confirmation, check the final runner guide, and leave the day after the race pleasantly unambitious.
Make a plan for the people not running
Give companions their own easy morning rather than asking them to follow every kilometre. Pick a meeting place only after checking the organiser’s spectator and road-access information. The bridge start described above is for participants, so it is not a place to arrange a family send-off.
Save a simple contact plan and allow for a late finish or a changed meeting point. A table, a gentle walk and time together can be a better post-race plan than another tight booking. The calendar reminder does not track runners, transport closures or the race-day status; use the official instructions for those.
