National Coach Museum
Ceremonial coaches and a modern museum visit in Belém, with ramps and lifts.

A cloister visit and a church visit are different plans, with different hours.
Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon’s Belém needs two separate plans: the ticketed cloister and the church have different visiting hours. Choose the part you want before buying anything. The church and ground-floor cloister have accessible visiting, but the upper cloister is not wheelchair-accessible. Leave the river and a pastry for afterwards.
Before you go
A longer outing — consider public transport or a taxi · little net height change · from Baixa (public area reference)
Walking estimates use distance and endpoint heights, not surveyed streets or step-free routes.
Choose the cloister for the architectural visit, and check the church separately: their visiting hours are not the same. Book the appropriate product, then keep some Belém time for a pastry and the river rather than trying to fit every monument into one queue-filled day.
Cloister admission, not a combined church product. Church visits run 10:30–17:00 Tuesday–Saturday and 14:00–17:00 Sundays/religious holidays. Capacity and state events can affect visits; check ticket availability before setting off.
Plan for the ground-floor cloister and church: the upper cloister is not wheelchair-accessible. Adapted toilets are on the ground floor; ask staff about a loan wheelchair or portable seat.
