Hands-on science for a Parque das Nações outing, with waterfront time afterwards.

An aquarium anchor in Parque das Nações, followed by optional waterfront time.
Lisbon Oceanarium is an aquarium in Parque das Nações and our anchor for an indoor family or rainy-day outing. Give the visit its own space, then add optional waterfront time rather than packing in another big attraction. Choose the aquarium as the main plan and let the riverside be the slower part afterwards.
Before you go
About 3 min walk · little net height change · from Parque das Nações (public area reference)
Walking estimates use distance and endpoint heights, not surveyed streets or step-free routes.
Make the aquarium the main stop, then leave the waterfront unhurried. Exhibition content is in Portuguese and English. Paid lockers help with smaller bags, but there is no storage for luggage larger than the available lockers.
Baby-changing facilities are available, but there is no dedicated feeding or breastfeeding room. Food and drinks stay outside the exhibitions.
Standard adult aquarium entry; child/senior rates differ. Meals and extras are not included.
The aquarium route has ramps and lifts for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is no adult changing facility or dedicated baby-feeding area; the rest of your walking route is separate.
