Estufa Fria
Planted paths, caves and running water inside Parque Eduardo VII’s greenhouse gardens.

The broad avenue for an easier city walk, shops and a café pause. Continue towards Parque Eduardo VII if you feel like a hill.
Avenida da Liberdade is the Lisbon avenue walk for shops, a café pause and a broader-street change from the old-city lanes. Start towards Restauradores, follow the avenue to Marquês de Pombal, then choose whether to continue into Parque Eduardo VII. The park adds the hill and a view down towards the city.
We use the avenue for a walk with room to change the plan: stop for a café, look at shops, or keep the next part for another day. Its broad-street character is the contrast with the small historic lanes. There is no need to turn every shopfront into a compulsory stop.
Marquês de Pombal gives the route a clear decision point. Continue to Parque Eduardo VII if the group wants a green break on a slope and the view down towards Lisbon. Or leave the park for another outing and keep this version to the avenue, shops and a place to sit.
The original sequence starts at Restauradores, continues along the avenue and ends towards Parque Eduardo VII. Marquês de Pombal is the named landmark before the park. Use the crossings around the monument and decide whether the final hill suits the day.

Geometric gardens and a long city view; Estufa Fria is a separate visit.
Keep the named stops together, or use them to start your own Lisbon list.
1 of 2 named stops have sourced pins. No between-stop walking estimate is available. Choose public stops with sourced pins.
Compare modelled streets and elevation. Missing coverage stays unestimated; this is not an access guarantee.
Dotted links show the ordering, not streets. Missing pins and flexible pauses are excluded from walking totals.
Parque Eduardo VII is a sloping green break, not simply more level avenue. Estufa Fria is another leafy idea near the park, with its own visiting days and access details. For SEEN Sky Bar, distinguish a walk-in drink from a restaurant reservation.
Weather & month planner →The guide’s sequence is Restauradores, the avenue and Parque Eduardo VII, with Marquês de Pombal before the park. You can keep the walk to the avenue if you do not want the final hill.
No: our guide describes it as a green break on a slope, with a view down towards Lisbon. Treat it as an optional addition to the easier avenue walk.
SEEN Sky Bar is the rooftop option above the avenue in our guide. Drinks are walk-in; restaurant reservations are a separate plan.
