Former government headquarters transferred for 90 planned homes

Added 18 Oct 2026

On 29 September, the former Presidency of the Council of Ministers headquarters was handed to Lisbon City Council for a planned 90 affordable homes. The government said public-sector staff, including police, health professionals and teachers, should have priority. The announcement records a transfer and intended use; it does not say the homes are ready to occupy.

If you’re here: This is a planned housing project. Check for a separate application notice before treating it as an available letting.
