Autumn vaccination campaign expands free flu cover for young children
Added 22 Oct 2026
Portugal's 2026–27 flu and COVID-19 vaccination campaign began on 30 September through SNS units, participating pharmacies and other designated sites. Free flu vaccination now includes children aged two to four. The campaign announcement also describes risk-based eligibility; availability and the right vaccination route depend on the person.
If you’re here: Ask your health centre or participating pharmacy to check eligibility and booking arrangements for your age and risk group.
